Update for tomorrow: Please have all of your athletes here in the morning if possible. We are planning to combine the morning and afternoon flights and just run it all through the morning until we are done. Please let me know if this won’t work for you, but I think we can get done earlier in the day this way.

This Saturday and Sunday we will hold the 2023 SASP State Championship at Olofson Shooting Range, located at 11652 NW Nissen Dr, Polk City. If you have not paid your registration fees yet, you may do so online through SHOT, or bring a check to the match.

Registration will open at 8am each day, coach meeting at 8:30am, and flights at 9am and 1pm. If you do not shoot until the afternoon, you do not need to arrive at 8:30 am, we will go over any items with you when you arrive.
We will be shooting the standard stations: In and Out, Go Fast!, Focus, and Speed Trap
Concessions will be available each day: We will have lunch available both days from 11-2 for a freewill donation. This is sponsored by the Iowa Hunter’s Education Association. There will be snacks and drinks available most of the day also.
We should have enough staff to provide scorekeepers and RSOs both days, but we appreciate your willingness to help out if we find ourselves short staffed.
Eye and ear protection required for competitors and spectators on the range
We will have an awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon for those present. If you are unable to attend, we will mail any awards to you.
